I recently went to this local produce market near where I live and I saw the juiciest peaches. I just knew I needed to come up with a good summer recipe using them. I would love to try some sort of cobbler in the future, but I was shooting for a far more simple recipe, which is how we landed here making Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches.

This recipe is super easy, quick, and delicious. The most important thing to keep in mind for this recipe is that you use RIPE peaches. Otherwise, they will just not taste as good as they could. All you need to do is cut your peaches in half and remove the pit. Then put a small amount of butter (keep it very small or else you will have a pool of butter when you take them out of the oven) on each of the peach halves. After combining the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, lightly coat each half of the peach with this seasoning. Once they are done cooking in the oven, they are ready to serve!

I served mine with So Delicious Very Vanilla ice cream, but you can pair with any vegan ice cream alternative or simply just serve with honey drizzled on top. Instead of ice cream, you can also top with some whip cream or Cool Whip. This recipe works well as a dessert, a sweet breakfast treat, or even a small lunch. If you’re entertaining a lot of people, this is a great dessert to make for multiple people since you can get a lot of portions with just a few peaches.
